There are some few steps to Follow and u have your own back up of Mozilla Firefox browser.. its all because of some Mozilla Users when they transfer old to new they lost their Bookmarks ...
in this way u cant get away from your even bookmarks and addons...
- before uninstall your old version
- Close your Mozilla Firefox
- Go to my Computer >> Tools Option>> Show Hide Files >> Apply
- Go to this directtory
- In the Directory Where u can see "a" a is my windows Xp user name u have enter in your User name Folder
- When u Reach in This Folder Copy this Folder and PASTE it in to some Other Drive Like d, e,f, etc
- Now uninstall your Mozilla and Install new version...
- and Close the Mozilla Firefox and Again copy that folder go to the same Directory which is Given in Pic and paste the Folder ...
- Now Open the Mozilla u will see your all links and Bookmarks back in mozilla...
